The Community Builders (TCB), a non-profit community housing developer, has begun work to convert the vacant 1.7 acre Crompton Knowles mill building site into 94 units of affordable housing.

The project will be developed in two phases: an initial phase of 39 one, two and three-bedroom units and a later phase of 32 one and two-bedroom units. A portion of the units in both phases will include housing for special needs households.
