Step 1: Declutter for Instant Tidiness
Start your house cleaning with first going through each room and picking up all the clutter, that can include books, newspapers, used cups and plates, clothes and other knickknacks that you and other members of the family have strewn around. Just decluttering your home at one go, will immediately make your home look that much tidier, even though you have not started the real job of cleaning it.
Remember to always clean any room that you are cleaning, to start from the top and higher levels so that any dirt or dust that you clear up falls to lower surfaces which you still have to clean. So start with ceiling fans, furniture, and then the floor. The floor should always be the last surface that you clean, and once this is done that room is cleaned and presentable.
Step 2: Dust from Top to Bottom
Your cleaning of the house will probably require dusting, vacuuming and mopping, and you can save time if you complete each of these activities in all rooms of the house before you take up the next task, even though this may mean that you have to move around that much more. Make sure that you are carrying all the necessary tools or gadgets with you when you start any particular task.
Make sure that any fans that are on are switched off before you start the first task of dusting your home. Step 4: Mop Up the Floors
Your next task is mopping up the floors. Again, it is important to do this systematically, from the corner farthest to the door of each room, and move back towards the door. Make sure that the mop is not too wet and dripping. Also, rinse the mop at regular intervals so that dirt and dust are removed from it before you move on to a newer area. It may also not be a bad idea to replace the water in your bucket after you have cleaned each room.
Step 5: Have Family Members Help
Doing each task throughout the home should not take you too long, and if you feel tired or bored, it may not be a bad idea to take a small break after every task is completed, so that you feel rested and ready to tackle the next.

Make sure that you carry around all the needed tools for each task with you so that you do not have to waste time getting them.
